unstoppable
despite winter's best efforts
the river's journey will not be denied
its iceblue waters
full
unstoppable
flow in the pale morning light
rushing to wherever it's supposed to go
this is the landscape of my being
despite life's best efforts
neither will my journey be denied
my scarlet passions
alive
unstoppable
flow in the pale reality of existence
singing full-throated 'til this play is run

Love the icy blue river and white snowbanks with the beautiful reflections. The sky texture and colors are fabulous. Beautiful work, Gina! l/f/p

I love the lighting in this gorgeous painting. Fabulous work. I love your poem too. So many truths, so little time.

I love the light and tones Gina! The contrasts between the steely blue of the water and the warm tones of the land and the pastels of the sky, are beautiful! And I love your brushwork! And your poem--I love the line between the two stanzas. Perfect balance. And the optimism and strength and power to control or resist control are very inspirational. Beautifully done Gina! l/f!
