Morgaine's Memoir
Lang syne the world was mine to shape,
I wove its patterns as I wished,
designing life's fabric to cast
the future in the ways of old.
I served the Goddess long and true,
but sometimes, selfishly, I stooped
and shifted fate to suit desire,
then paid the price such whims demand.
The days of magick now are dead,
the daughters of Cerridwen gone
to Avalon, the apple isle,
where now I too, departed, dwell.
No more the charm of making chant,
nor bend reality to will,
but sit and spin, remembering,
regretting nothing that I wrought.

This is a great and beautiful portrait, depicting a most beautiful and thoughtful lady. A Royal Lady who once might have walked with Merlin in the Magical Days of Camelot, - and perhaps even today in the many, many special and still magical imaginative worlds of artists who grace the pages of FAA. :-)

Not so fast Morgaine Le Fay, if you look through RC deWinters portfolio - there is lots and lots of 'magic and charm' alive and well... :-)
