interpretive dancing
when the screen cracks
making reality uninterpretable
dreams are my meditations
rumbling
tumbling down the long tunnel
from my brain to my gut
they speak in many tongues
a stew of psychic wisdom
to be savored
in the quiet of my special place
eyes closed
i sit
digesting my dreams
weaving a seamless melody
that flows back to my brain
and my mind dances with insight
understanding
sometimes even prophecy
when the music fades
and i open my eyes
the screen is whole
reality reassembled for the nonce
i don't often pray
but when i do
it's always for dreams
without dreams
i'd be a rag doll
behind a broken screen
clueless
lifeless
unable to dance

So many of your works have a special narrative and all nostalgic RC. Love the mood you set. F/L
RC DeWinter replied:
Thanks, Randy. You would laugh to see my original photo...not much resemblance and definitely not nostalgic. Those digital impressionist palettes do it.

Ah, Gina, love this! Sorry to say I spent way too much time in time out...didn't have the luxury of having anything to sit on though. ;-) I so admire your paintography, Gina, an awesome talent indeed. Fav/L

The moonlight glow falling on this wonderful wooden step stool has captivated me. A beautiful simple image that creates a warm mood. Very nice, Gina! l/f/pinned

Such a fave, excellent photography
RC DeWinter replied:
Thanks, Elfriede. The photo was very different and rather pedestrian, so I[m glad you like the digital magick.

This image emotes childhood, thoughfulness, warmth...along with a little fear and shame. l/f

Beautiful soft light from the window creates a golden glow on the wood surface. Love the soft, sweet look together with straight lines and corners. l/f
