Oasis
Too often does the world spin out of round,
where all once true is false and false is true,
where night is day and day in darkness drowned,
where I am lost, not knowing what to do.
But remedy I've fashioned and enjoy,
when nothing sensible can I construe
from what life offers; magick I employ,
constructing my own universe anew.
I bring the stars down from the midnight blue,
and rainbows to illuminate the gloom,
righting the tilt that throws the world askew,
making life as it should be, all abloom.
And now, once more in equilibrium,
the out of balance world is overcome.
