Love Knot
Tonight I wandered back in time
to when we still did freely speak;
caught up in all that dark mystique
I read your words and felt their rhyme.
Where once a silver thread did bind
us, precious little now remains;
yet thought of you my heart constrains,
still with your magick is it twined.
If only memory would fade,
free me to offer love once more;
for some things there is no encore
but silver thread, knotted and frayed.
