The wind whips the waves and clouds during a glorious midsummer sunset on Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Canada, known as "Baie du Tonnerre" (Bay of Thunder) on 18th-century French maps. Reimagined and painted in digital oils from a photograph by nephew, Brian Coppola.
