This beautiful child didn't grow up to be a princess, a banker, a model, an attorney or some lucky man's wife. She's a soldier in the US military, toting an M-16 - one of thousands of poor and working-class teens who choose the military over joblessness. They face death every day in the wars that are bleeding our country of its precious young people and piling massive debt on us, our children and their children, too.
