Beautiful painting. I feel as if I'm look through gauzy cloth curtains from the outside. Your poem falls within my realm of paranoia that runs deep. Written word will be the only haven we who are literate will still be able to enjoy them. Unless of course, those who are not literate come and gather them for heating our cold homes. Fabulous work.
