Here we see a night view of the historic landmark lighthouse at Split Rock - originally known as Stony Point - on Lake Superior in Minnesota. Completed in 1910 by the US Lighthouse Service, it operated until 1939, when the Coast Guard took over patrol. Reimagined and painted from a photo shared by Steve Hamburg.
