How many times, lover, will you follow me to the sea?
How long before you grow tired of jousting
with Neptune for my attention?
I have seen your skin prickle with gooseflesh
as I stand in moonlight, never chilled by stiff salt winds;
I know you pace, impatient, behind my back
as I stare, captive of mercreatures you cannot perceive.
Do not ask me to choose, for I will always have the sea;
so if you must, kiss my cheek and say farewell to me.

This illuminating glow and the crashing waves...I can smell the salt spray from the water here. Oh, and this verse is fantastic with this piece RC.

Gorgeous and so moody and wild RC!
RC DeWinter replied:
I do many paintings of the sea, but it's changeable and untamable so it's always a challenge. Thank you.
