A view of the historic landmark lighthouse at Split Rock - originally known as Stony Point - on Lake Superior in Minnesota. Completed in 1910 by the US Lighthouse Service, it operated until 1939, when the Coast Guard took over patrol.

This has a lovely old world feeling. Nice light and shadow and overall tones give it a warmth and attraction similar to El Greco...I love the light in the sky.
